Steve wonders if he's gay

Hi All

Not a lot to go on but hopefully this will ring a bell.  Steve is injured (can't remember how) and on recovery asks Mary or Kono if he was gay before.  Snuggles on the sofa with Danny while he's sleeping, as Danny is staying on his sofa.
Not much I know. Hope you can help.

Thanks

I'm almost certain it's Where the World Drops Off by Portraitofafool. It was really good, but I think the author has taken it down, unfortunately.

Yeah, I agree. I think it is that story too. I was really surprised to get the Goat of Doom when I clicked on the link just now.

The author took all of her work down. A few posts back someone was looking for the same story. Here was the reply:

Any exchange of that story is subject to copyright infringement law. I truly hate that and I am sorry, but sharing (or holding) of that story is considered illegal and I have to ask that you delete your copy as well. Please pass the word around, too, if you will because the last thing I want to happen is for anyone to get in trouble. I am SO HAPPY that many people enjoyed that story and taking it down was *painful*, so I want them to know (since no one seems to have the wherewithal to ask me directly) that I am SORRY. And thank YOU for actually getting in touch with me to ask—you have no idea how grateful I am that someone had the *cojones* to do so. :)

The second part sounds like an element of the wonderful Finduilas's stories

'The reason you loved me before'

I dont recognise the first bit sorry. I recall one where a 'mentally deaged' teenage Steve asks Danny (who's taking care of him) if he likes girls/boys, but the name is escaping me.
