Post 1.24 Danny angst

Morning everyone!

I'm hoping you can help. I'm looking for a fic that's post season 1 finale where Steve is out and back to work but thinks Danny is going to leave him for Rachel and is pulling away from him. All I can remember clearly is he partners Danny with Kono and himself with Chin, and Chin tells him something like: "He gave up Grace for you" while Steve's driving his truck. So Steve pulls over and explains that Jenna told him Danny was going to leave.
I forgot to bookmark it and its bugging me that I can't find it again.

Hey all, I'm looking for a fic that started with a pre-series Steve/Danny meeting (read: sex), where Steve basically subs for Danny. Flash to them meeting in canon. I don't remember how Danny realizes that Steve was the guy he'd been thinking about for years, but Steve recognizes Danny when Danny ties that guy to the hood of his car in 1x06 (I think) when searching for Meka's killer.

Are there any fics where danny is a math genius?? or really good in any subject?? or just inteligent in general, but in a way that is noticeable.

Any genre is welcome and pairings as well but i do preffer slash.
