I'm having trouble finding fic that references the "weak link" line from season 6. You know, when Lou calls Danny the weakest link on the team before the mud run, which made me so sad!!

I'm not a fan of rachel on the show. I think Danny got the short end of the stick in that divorce. What i'm looking for are stories where Danny gets to be angry that Rachel lied to him about Charlie being his son and his friends NOT talking him out of his anger. They basically just glossed over that story like what she did was normal. They might have ironed that out in this current season, but I haven't watched any of those episodes yet.

So please, rec away. And any other stories where the storyline is not nice to her would be good to. I'm just in the mood for some rachel bashing :) It could be steve/danny slash as well. Thanks!

I've recently started re-watching the series after a hiatus of years and am slowly catching up. As I watch, I notice a lot of the good that Five-0 does for the Hawaiian community, the people they help and the justice they deal out (along with the massive amount of property damage...XD LOL). So it got me curious about a certain kinda fic...

Are there any good fics out there that explore what the Five-0 task force means to your average Hawaiian, in any capacity? Maybe POVs from original characters, the average Jo-blow on the streets of Honolulu, as they think about the task force, how they've helped/saved them and such? Gen, het, slash, it's all good to me in the H 5-0 world. I love both Danny and Steve, but really with this request, I'll take anything. So any recommendations or fics out there that contain things like this?

I'd really appreciate it if you could recommend to me any good gen Chin centric fics(thee so hard to find!) and also any good WWII stories featuring the whole team. I have yet to read a good WWII au. Such an interesting idea: who Danny be? A journalist? Seems fitting. Steve? A Marine or an Army man probably. Chin and Kono? Well, considering they're ethnicity, they'd be rounded up like the rest of their people on Hawaii. Chin would jump at the chance to join the Army rather than sit idle in a camp. There's a challenge for my fellow writers.

Inspired by last night's episode, I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations of fics where Steve and/or Danny retrieve a teenager from a party where he/she is not supposed to be or that has gotten out of control. It can be Grace, it can be OC children, it can be a McDanno fic, a gen fic, or even a het fic. The person(s) retrieving the teen can be the parent(s) or the teen could have called on an uncle for help.

I think I've read scenes like this in fiction before so I'm sure there are some. I'm not so much looking for a specific fic, but any stories that cover this issue.

I have seen here some pretty interesting versions of Danny`s secret past... From CIA to MI6, SWAT, Turc Mallone etc. But not one of those stories was of Danny met Steve years before Hawaii. Someone has recs with military!Danny meeting Steve before? Maybe Danny MP on base with Steves SEAL Team or marine!Danny`s platoon and Steve`s SEAL Team in same operation?

Looking for a fic (driving me crazy because I can't find it) where Stan tries to have Danny killed. All I remember is Stan claims he was away with Rachel when Danny is injured but they prove he is involved. Something about Rachel and Grace being held on a boat also.

I was wondering if you guys could rec me some good McDanno fics. Anything.
Doesn´t matter if its an AU(just no kid fics please) an it should be finished tho.
Hurt or angsty Danny centered is always a plus.

Another request: Do you know if there are any fics out there in which Danny is explaining Steve his true feelings towards him but Steve eventually doesn´t react how Danny thought he would. (Of course Steve feels the same but doesn´t tell for awhile) Happy endings are appreciated :)
