I read a fic a while back where Steve was exposed to some sort of neurotoxin or something and he was in a lot of pain and screaming for Dany but they wouldn't let Danny in to see him because maybe it was contagious. I remember it being quite short, more of a drabble than fic really but I could be wrong. If someone would kindly point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.
Now onto my second vaguer request. Are there any fics out there were Steve and Danny are in a relationship and they have a fight or something of the sort over Danny's lack of spiritual beliefs? I don't want any fics where Danny's converted into this god fearing man out of the blue because I really hated the direction the show has taken with regards to his beliefs. I thought that Danny's attitude was a breath of fresh air and subject that's quite rarely covered in american TV (well in my experience anyway) and I find it a bit a far fetched for an atheist to get so easily spooked by a ghost or a supposedly haunted house.
Any way that was quite a rant, I'm just really pissed at how they fucked up Danny's character and I don't know if its to make more room for Catherine's character or just because but lets not get into that. Any help would be much appreciated.
