Danny in the army/& Danny is an artist (2 stories)

Hi guys, I've searched and searched and I can't seem to find a fic where Danny isn't a detective but he's in the army. It  was an AU of course and I think Steve was still Navy. All I can remember about it was that Danny joined the army instead of the academy and he and Steve got together in the end. Also, I believe Danny had custody of grace, or at least she spent most of her time with him. Can anyone help me. It's driving me crazy.

      The second fix is about Danny being an artist. I think he went to art school but dropped out because they didn't take too kindly to his style as a tattoo artist. He still became a cop. Steve finds out about this because Danny brings grace over to Steve's and she asks him to draw dolphins on her. There was a whole speech she had to give about not getting a tattoo unless she was serious about it. Then Danny drew on Steve, a tramp stamp I think. It might have also been pre-slash. Thanks for any help!!
